twenty one
With the presence of a new kitty, which we call Cherry/Cheri , a lot of things have happened. I’m sure it’ll be interesting having them both in our house as both cats seem to be intelligent in their own ways :D Girl and Cherry are quite the opposites of each other. Cherry likes to sit on my lap but Girl would never stay still unless if she’s tired. Cherry likes to skip around people and rub her head against our hand or feet when we’re around but Girl would only do that after she wakes up from her sleep. In other words, Cherry is the manja type, and Girl is the um, the type who doesn’t like to be fussed on? That’s why Ayah really likes Cherry and would say to girl “tu la, sape suruh tak manja macam ni?”. Haha. Cherry isn’t scared of anything, while Girl is known to be a scaredy cat. She was even afraid of Cherry at first. Tsk3. Badan je gemuk tapi penakut. Maybe it’s the trauma of her past when she was always being bullied by the orange fat cat that made her poop everywhere. Contradict betul dua ekor ni. Another interesting thing about them is, Girl could be ganas at times, but when brought to the vet she wouldn’t even budge, staying under my armpit until she finally reaches home. But Cherry, she became violent and would scratch and claw before even going inside the treatment room >.> and her claws are sharper than Girl’s too :O It left a deeep scar on my hand >:O
Cherry came four days ago, and she looked timid, trying to adapt to the new environment. But she adjusted to us in no time and was seen happily playing around in the kitchen. Girl wasn’t used to having another cat in the house and was always hissing and crouching in a standby mode, never taking her eyes off Cherry. But she wouldn’t come near Cherry. She couldn’t accept Cherry’s smell and would snarl if we hold her after holding Cherry. That’s how much she doesn’t like Cherry around so Ibu never held Cherry. Poor Cherry. Ibu was sad when Girl wouldn’t eat, drink, berak, kencing and Girl had a sad look in her eyes (from what Ibu thought it looked like). Girl mogok. Ibu said if they still can’t get along after two weeks, Cherry will have to go.
Four days have passed. Last night we came back from sending Dikyoh to the bus station, and something happened. Eh wait, I think it was before sending Dikyoh. Anyways semalam la. I went to the kitchen, and I saw Girl was right next to Cherry. And when Girl saw me coming she stood up and walked away. I think they were always on good terms behind our backs! And when we’re around they would act like they don’t really like each other. But then after that, Cherry went near Girl and she kissed Girl’s nose, and Girl just sat there and did nothing. There was no hissing, snarling, growling whatsoever. And it was so cute I could have cried! Haha. But Girl is still always keeping an eye on Cherry, as if to make sure she wont make any trouble in the kitchen. When Cherry disappeared from her sight, she would go find Cherry and keep her back in sight. I think Girl’s maternity side has finally shown :O Though she still wont come near Cherry. It’s always Cherry who would go near Girl, being the one who’s not afraid of anything. Isk3. At least Girl doesn’t run away anymore when Cherry is nearby. I think they could be best chums in the future. Ayah is going to be surprised when he gets back from Kedah today :D It didn’t take that long for them to get used to each other.
I haven’t taken decent pictures of them yet. I have a few pictures in my phone but couldn’t transfer to my laptop. So pictures would probably come later. Kalau ingat la. mwehehe. Girl and Cherry comel! Nak kenyek2! Cherry needs to be vaccinated first before she could really mingle with Girl. I hope to see them sleeping next to each other someday :D
